FME-2 series fiber optical modem can be modular with three configurations. 2xE1; 2xV.35/V.24/RS232; E1 and V.35/V.24/RS232. Single fiber for WDM can be optional.
With the up-to-date ASIC circuit design,FME-2 Series fiber modem can modulate E1 or V.35,V.24/RS232 signal to single-mode or multi-mode fiber which provides 2 separate 2M data channels(2*E1,2*V.35 or V.24/RS232,1*E1+1*V.35 or V.24/RS232 ).It can achieve fiber to V.35 or V.24/RS232 directly instead of using the PDH and converter,to reduce the cost.It supports remote management function,the slave can automatically follow the master(the rate of the slave not need to be set);FME-2 Series can be across used as requirement and be widely used in extending user interface in ATM or DDN.
